It is with great honor that I announce my candidacy to serve the people of Hidalgo County as Judge for the newly-created 476th District Court. The 476th District Court will have jurisdiction over criminal, civil, and family law cases.

I have previously served our community as an Associate Judge of Master Court in Hidalgo, Jim Hogg, and Starr County, as a public defender in Hidalgo County, and I am a Municipal Judge for the City of San Juan. I currently operate a private practice where I represent people in all aspects of the law.

My experience litigating and presiding over thousands of civil, criminal, and family law cases gives me a well-rounded perspective that will serve me well as Judge of the 476th District Court. I have the vast experience, integrity and work ethic that is needed to bring a new perspective and insight to better serve the people of Hidalgo County. I believe that these qualifications and values make me the best candidate.

As Judge of the 476th District Court I will be honest and fair. I will treat all parties and litigants that come before me with dignity, respect and compassion as I understand that every decision made will impact people’s lives. I have always respected the power of the court and will use my best judgment with caution and restraint to ensure that justice prevails.

Primary and general election dates for the 476th District Court are currently scheduled for March and November 2024, respectively. I look forward to meeting as many constituents as possible as I kick off this campaign. I am ready to serve the great people of Hidalgo County and I humbly ask for your vote.
